I did notice the date of this post; it almost kept me from replying. Sadly, however, there are now (2008) several 12-Step groups for Internet Addiction... At the same time there is an on-going argument amongst scholarly types as to whether Internet Addiction actually IS an addiction. As the developer of an online community with a membership base of over 30,000, I would state, unequivocally, that when compared to any other addiction (cravings, consequences, relationship and monetary loss) Internet Addiction is very, very real.
